Rebecca Norris
Musical Director
Rebecca Norris is thrilled to be active in the local theatre
scene again, adding the Gingerland Theatre Company to her long list of creative
projects. She holds a B.F.A. in Entertainment Art from Cal State Fullerton,
where she was heavily involved in the school's fine art and music programs.
While singing in the school's top choir she performed with such artists as Debby
Boone, Nell Carter, Marni Nixon, and the Pacific Symphony Orchestra. She also
performed with Rosemary Clooney at her very last White Christmas Concert, and
toured for three years on the Boston Pops Orchestra's West Coast Holiday Tour,
the third year as a soloist. Rebecca has sung at the Hollywood Bowl, Washington
D.C.'s Kennedy Center, and at the opening of Disney's California Adventure, also
having performed a solo aria for Congressman Ken Calvert. In Corona, she was
the musical director of Christian Youth Theatre of Corona (CYT) for five
productions. She now teaches private music lessons, works as the accompanist
for several local school choirs and has appeared in The Masterpiece at
Crossroads Church for the past three years. Still, film-making is her passion
and she hopes to work for Dreamworks Studios in the near future. In the
meantime she is grateful to God for this wonderful chance to share her talents
with the community!
